Our inaugural Bilby Bash! took place at Ciao Amici's in Brighton, Michigan, on March 8th, 2025.
We welcomed 80 guests to our premier, featuring a buffet dinner, open-bar, dessert table, photo opportunities, trivia games, as well as selection of raffles, silent and live auction baskets and items!

During our main presentation, we revealed our purpose for holding the event, delving into the wonderful wildlife of Australia, the immense threats facing its continued survival, and the incredible work that AWC, the
Australian Wildlife Conservancy, preforms in order to safeguard the biodiversity of an entire continent!

We were honored to welcome Anne Krumme, Managing Director of AWC-USA, as well as Isabel Connell, Senior Field Ecologist of AWC, to join the event via Zoom Call to provide further information about the organization, the challenges they face and how they work to overcome them, and to answer questions that our guests had!

Between our entry tickets, in-event donations, raffles, silent and live auctions, we were ecstatic to be able to raise
$29,338 USD!
